After confirming the details and price, I will send you an invoice for payment.By commissioning me, it means that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of my terms and conditions.
You must include the following information in your request:
Contact info
Name(s) of the Character(s)
The commission style you want (style type and proportion)
Text description of your commission request
Links to references or albums of your character(s). Provide at least 2 visual references per character
This information is set by default, but you are free to let me know of your preferences:
Privacy - the commission is public
On completion, you receive:- The original sized .png file
I typically start drawing on an A4 canvas @ 300 dpi, which may be cropped to size
- The resized version .png file, including my watermark
- If applicable ; For other commission types, you may receive other file formats, such as .gif, .mov

General
â—† All commissions are digital products
â—† Commissions are for personal use only
â—‡ For commercial usage, contact [email protected] via email, and expect to pay 2x - 3x the base price of the commission type
â—† The client and the artist both agree to keep any sensitive or personal information private
â—† The client must contact me via the provided Google Form.
â—‡ I will contact the client if I take interest in their commission request
â—‡ The commission will be initiated when I send the client the invoice, and the invoice is paid
â—† I have the right to refuse the commission.
â—† Generally, only one request per transaction please
â—† The client must provide me with written clear details and at least 2 visual references of their requested character(s).
â—‡ I will charge the client extra if the request is submitted with text only.
â—‡ If the client misses out on sending me details, they can inform me of them before they send the payment.
â—† I will try to follow the request as well as I can.
â—† I have the rights to cancel and refund the money for the commission at any time
â—† The commission can be private at no extra charge. The client must let me know in advance.
Notes
â—† The prices stated are the base prices - they may increase, based on the complexity of the commissioned piece.
â—‡ I may charge extra for things that I am not proficient at drawing (refer to the list above).
â—‡ Additional characters (on the same piece) cost an additional 50-100%of the price of the commission.
â—‡ Complex details based on my discretion, will be charged extra.
â—† I will let you know if I find that the request has complex details and quote you in advance
â—† On completion of your request, you will receive:
â—‡ The original size .png file
â—‡ The half-sized version .png file, including my watermark
â—‡ Depending on the commission type, you may receive other file types, such as .gif, etc
â—† I start drawing on an A4-sized canvas, at 300 dpi, and I may crop the image to size.
â—‡ If you require a specific size or DPI, the client may let me know in advance
â—†If the request is not an illustration type, and you have requested a simple background, you will also receive the version with a transparent background.
Payment
â—† I must be paid before I start the commission
â—‡ For total costs under 300 $ - the full price must be paid
â—‡ For total costs over 300 $ - 50% payment upfront, 50% payment for when I complete the commission
â—† I only accept payment by the specified currency.
â—† Payment will be done by PayPal invoice
â—‡ Please pay within 10 days of receiving the invoice
â—† Payment must be done by the client - no third parties allowed
â—† Refunds and cancellation
â—‡ The client may cancel the commission request at no charge if they have not paid the invoice
â—‡ A partial refund is allowed after receiving the detailed sketch. Please see the rights to understand what permissions are allowed.
â—‡ No refunds are allowed after the detailed sketch has been approved
Workflow and Revisions
â—†I try to finish the commission within 1 month of after receiving payment. I may take up to three months once I start a commission
â—†No deadlines - the client cannot set a deadline
â—†I will provide WiPs at major points of the process, and I require the client's approval in order to continue, so please make sure to respond!
â—‡ Please note: Revision stages that are after "detailed sketch" do not apply to the following commission types: Sketch, Coloured Sketchâ—‡ Base sketch (composition)
â—‡ Detailed sketch
â—‡ Lineart+flats+rough lighting
â—‡ Render
â—‡ Background (if applicable)
â—‡ Post-editing (final stage)â—†I may provide additional WiPs if I need clarification
â—†Clients may request WiPs at anytime. However, they may not freely request for revisions for these WiPs
â—†I allow a limited amount of major revisions outside of showing WiPs to the client.
â—‡ To my discretion, any excessive amount of revisions will result in a charge
â—†If I make a mistake due to not following what the request clearly states, then I correct my mistakes, free of charge
â—†Minor revisions are free of charge. They may not be done immediately.
Rights and Permissions
â—† I own the full rights to the artwork
â—† I do not claim property of the subjects that I am commission to draw
â—† I am free to post WiPs of the commission and/or stream the process.
â—‡ If the client would like to keep the commission private, feel free to let me before I start the commission
â—‡ I may reused unused preparatory content for future worksThe client :
â—† Must credit duokhaydraws as the artist of the commissioned piece
â—† Is free to use the commission for personal use only
â—‡ e.g. usage on personal sites or social media. The commission may be reuploaded, used as icons, etc
â—‡ Making physical prints for themselves or as gifts
â—† May do minor edits to the finished commission
â—† Cannot use commissions for non-fungible tokens (NFTs)
â—† Commercial/promotional usage is not allowed.Commercial usage includes:
â—‡ Making merchandise of the commissioned work for sale or profit
â—‡ Usage of the commissioned piece as assets for streaming, or donation supported sites, such YouTube, Patreon, etc
â—‡ Reselling the commissioned piece
